I can't win lately. I don't know what's wrong with my luck.
So I decide to take some pictures tonight.
One minute my camera is around my neck. The next, it's on the ground.
How the
fuck does that happen twice in a month?
How the
fuck does the neck strap just loosen itself?
How the
fuck am I going to handle this?
Ironically, the lens seems fine this go around, it's the.. you know.. $1,200 body that's not working this time.

I'm beyond angry, and I'm kind of in a state of apathetic shock right now. *
Yeyende and I just recently had a conversation about how fucking tight money is, and how I can barely afford doing anything for Christmas, or even buy food.
What the
fuck am I going to do?
Like the title says, I'm just going to give up, for now. I'll send it to Canon. If I can afford it, great. If not, whatever. I'll deal, and hopefully save up the money soon.
I guess I'll be working my ass off over Christmas break.
As a result, I'll probably be on dA a
lot less frequently.. It'll just remind me that I don't have a camera. Hell I don't even have a little point-and-shoot.
I'm still keeping the contest running, no worries. I'm not just going to be particularly active. Well, probably not at all.
I don't even know what to say right now. I've cried more tonight than I have in a long time over anything. It's kind of pitiful. .-. Thanksgiving. Pssh.

Exposed
Contest Description and Rules
Before losing my lens, I'd become very fond of long-exposure skyscapes.
I challenge you to tackle the same kind of photograph.
Rules
* Your photo must be taken at night, after October 25th.
- By night I mean any time
after the sun has set. Slight/city glow is okay.
* It must feature stars and/or clouds (skyscape)
* It must feature (at least) one other feature (ie. tree, fence).
* It may not be Photoshopped in any way (with the exception of framing).
Entry
* Link to this journal in your Deviation description.
* Send me a note with the link to your Deviation.
* Entries will be posted in this journal as they arrive.
* You may submit up to three entries.
Deadline/Selection
* You have until the end of the year (midnight, 12/31).
* I will select 10 finalists (or 5, depending on the number of entries).
* No two pieces from the same artist may make the top 10.
* I will create a poll and other Deviants will vote.
Deadline is subject to change, depending on number of entries (but not likely).
